It is important to understand that general purpose cleaners, although appearing to surface clean, do not thoroughly clean stone or marble and in the medium to long-term will actually shorten the life and beauty due to chemical reactions which weaken the stone creating a rough and flakey surface. The stone will also fade and lose their shine. |
